Adobe Photoshop, atau biasa disebut Photoshop, adalah perangkat lunak editor citra buatan Adobe Systems yang dikhususkan untuk pengeditan foto/gambar dan pembuatan efek. Perangkat lunak ini banyak digunakan oleh fotografer digital dan perusahaan iklan sehingga dianggap sebagai pemimpin pasar (market leader) untuk perangkat lunak pengolah gambar/foto, dan, bersama Adobe Acrobat, dianggap sebagai produk terbaik yang pernah diproduksi oleh Adobe Systems. Versi kedelapan aplikasi ini disebut dengan nama Photoshop CS (Creative Suite), versi sembilan disebut Adobe Photoshop CS2, versi sepuluh disebut Adobe Photoshop CS3 , versi kesebelas adalah Adobe Photoshop CS4 dan versi yang terakhir (keduabelas) adalah Adobe Photoshop CS5.
Photoshop tersedia untuk Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, dan Mac OS; versi 9 ke atas juga dapat digunakan oleh sistem operasi lain seperti Linux dengan bantuan perangkat lunak tertentu seperti CrossOver.

Fitur

Meskipun pada awalnya Photoshop dirancang untuk menyunting gambar untuk cetakan berbasis-kertas, Photoshop yang ada saat ini juga dapat digunakan untuk memproduksi gambar untuk World Wide Web. Beberapa versi terakhir juga menyertakan aplikasi tambahan, Adobe ImageReady, untuk keperluan tersebut.

Nikon D90

Memorizing Again, the first words spoken when buying this camera, after nearly 2 years using a Nikon D3000. In view of sufficient body fat exactly the same as my first manual camera Nikon F80. Here I give a little review on this camera.

Nikon D90 touted as the best camera Nikon today. I strongly agree. 18-105 mm VR lens kit was sharp. Appropriate expectations. Range 18-105 mm focal length really like the combination of two lenses and my initial 18-55 mm 55-200 mm with a slight loss of distance on the longest zoom, but with the advantage does not need to mutually lens. This eliminates the effects of distortion and softness due to the construction focal length is too long, as I often find in the construction of the universe broom 18-200 mm lens (18-200 mm Nikon lens and even that expensive).

Compared with 18-135 mm lens, the D90 kit lens is much better because it is equipped with technology VR (Vibration Reduction). This is very useful for my lazy wielding tripod from its holster. I am quite surprised that the D90 can hold more weight with the stable until 1/2.5 sec. Whereas in the D40 maximal at 1 / 8 sec.

About the noise, the D90 one stop better than D40. My tolerance limit in D40 is at ISO 800, but with the D90, I was quite okay with raising the ISO in 1000 to 1250.

Features and Handling

The most impressive feature is its LCD is large and sharp. This makes photographing a lot of fun. It was a better photo results. Nikon D40 is the first DSLR that had a large LCD, and it was very enjoyable. Comparing with oldest brother D90, Nikon D70, which had a small LCD. Have to squint to see first if you want. Here, every detail, color, and depth of field can be enjoyed immediately and promptly corrected by the next shots if there are less fit.

There are many keys and key combinations to adjust the settings. Menus are available three times more than the Nikon D40. There are many new features that I do not know. Small LCD on the right shows the full information about the settings used. I dubbed this LCD as: distinguishing Nikon pro series and the series beginner ;-).

Movie and Live View

I will not use the feature movie even though the quality is good. It was strange to record video with construction tools designed for photographing. I will often shoot video with my little Ixus which is sufficient to meet the needs.

I also would rarely use live view mode. One pleasure of shooting with a DSLR is peering through the viewfinder. The new feature is useful for shooting around corners is difficult to impossible to peer through the viewfinder.

Conclusion

Ken Rockwell said, if price does matter, grabs D5000 instead. But shooting on the D90 is an exciting new experience. Nikon D90 is not just a D5000 with additional buttons. There are many things that the D90 is much better and worth it with the price difference.

If you are a budding photographer who will choose the first camera, the D90 probably not the camera that is too precise. There will be too many features that are unused. Nikon D3000 or D5000 is better suited to meet the needs to explore the composition and some limitations that make us become more creative.
